Product videos

Product videos is a carousel of short vertical videos, like reels: textures, swatches and routines. The video in the middle plays while the cards around it wait, slightly faded. Under each video sits the product it shows, with its price, one tap from its page or from quick view.

Find it in the editor

On the home page, it is in the Template list. To add it to any page, click Add section and choose Product videos. Each card is a Video card block inside it.

Section settings

General

Setting	Description
Color scheme	The colors of this section. Schemes are edited in Theme settings → Colors.

Section header

Setting	Description
Subheading	A short line above the heading, with a small dash beside it.
Heading	The heading. Leave it empty to hide it.
Heading size	Medium or Large. Shown when the heading has text.
Backdrop word	A large outlined word behind the heading. One short word works best; it sizes itself to fit.
Description	A short text under the heading.
Alignment	Aligns the header to the left, center or right.
Alignment on mobile	The alignment below 768px. Same as desktop keeps the alignment above.
Header width	How wide the heading and description may run: Narrow, Medium, Wide or Full width.

Layout

Setting	Description
Columns on desktop	How many cards show across on screens from 1536px (3–5). Smaller screens show fewer.
Columns on mobile	How many cards fit across a phone: 1, or 1.2 (a peek), which shows part of the next card.
Video shape	Portrait (3:4), Reel (9:16) like a phone screen, or Square.

Active card

Setting	Description
Lift the centered card	How much the card in the middle rises above the others: None, Subtle or Strong.
Other cards opacity	How faded the cards around it are (40–100%). 100% doesn't fade them.

Playback

Setting	Description
Autoplay the centered video	Plays the video in the middle on its own, without sound.
Show sound toggle	Adds a button that turns the sound on and off.

Carousel

Setting	Description
Show arrows	Shows the previous and next arrows.
Show dots	Shows a row of dots under the carousel, one for each card.
Loop	After the last card, continues with the first. With only a few cards, some repeat, so one can appear twice.

Section spacing

Setting	Description
Use custom spacing	Gives this section its own top and bottom spacing. Off, it uses Section spacing from Theme settings → Layout.
Top spacing	Space above the section (0–200px). Phones get 60% of it and tablets 80%. Shown when Use custom spacing is on.
Bottom spacing	Space below the section (0–200px). Phones get 60% of it and tablets 80%. Shown when Use custom spacing is on.

Blocks

Video card

One card. Add cards with Add Video card under the section in the sidebar.

Setting	Description
Video	A video uploaded to Shopify. Short vertical clips work best.
Fallback image	A picture shown when no video is chosen.
Product	The product shown under the video, with its price and a link to it. When quick view is on in Theme settings → Product cards, customers can buy it there too.

Note

Upload videos in the Shopify admin under Content → Files, or straight from the Video picker. Five or more cards make the carousel feel full.
